FREMONT, Calif.- April 30, 2004 - This Mother's
Day, don't just call Mom, show her your smile. To celebrate
Mom, Bloomingdale's and Vialta have partnered to give
away a pair of Beamer videophones (a $500 value) every
day from April 30th - May 9th in all 32 Bloomingdale's
stores across the country. During those 10 days, consumers
can visit any Bloomingdale's store, try a Beamer demo
and see how live video adds a whole new dimension to
calling a loved one, especially Mom.
As
a special pre-Mother's Day event on Thursday, May 6th,
from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. PDT, customers at Bloomingdale's
flagship store on 59th Street in New York City can use
Beamer videophones to see their friends and relatives
at the Century City Bloomingdale's store in Los Angeles,
and vice versa.

three states away from my mom has made it hard for my
family to see each other on a regular basis," said
